Three years old, little Remy disappeared for 12 hours ...
One evening, Timberlyn Merritt's daughter disappeared from their Missouri farm; Like any mother, she was overwhelmed by panic.
A disturbing disappearance
It is in a few seconds that the little Remy, three years old, has totally disappeared. She was then swinging and her mother turned her head a few minutes ... When she wanted to take a look at her daughter, she could only note his absence.
Not only was Remy not found, but the night was starting to fall and the farm was next to a huge corn field. So many difficulties in addition to quickly find the girl.
Without hesitation for a second, Timberlyn rushed to contact relief. She then started running around trying to find her daughter. But quickly she realized that the task was too heavy for her alone. She decided to ask her neighbors for help.
They are soon 150 volunteers, public safety officers, a search and rescue helicopter, an infrared radar and police dogs who joined the search to find the little Remy. Unfortunately, after hours of research, it was not enough and everything was stopped until the next morning.
A four-legged hero
It was the next morning at dawn that the search was resumed, 12 hours after the disappearance of the girl. Fortunately, a bark was quickly heard in the middle of the cornfield.
The police rushed in that direction and found little Remy with his own dog that kept him warm. Obviously, the brave dog had found his little mistress for several hours and had made sure to keep it safe until help arrives.
Without the help of his dog, it's hard to tell what would have happened to little Remy.
